Deidre Bryant - Senior Executive Director
Deidre’s career in association management began in July 1989 when she moved to Sacramento with her family. Prior to joining ARC in June 2004, she worked 15 years for The Messersmith Group. Her strengths in nonprofit management include board governance, conference management and membership development, to highlight a few. Deidre’s passion and commitment to nonprofit work is evidenced by her “Your experience is important to me” attitude. In college, she studied psychology and early childhood education. After playing soccer competitively for more than half her life, Deidre swapped her cleats for cycling shoes and didn’t look back. However, as a volunteer, Deidre manages two soccer tournaments every year – one supporting the local women’s league (multiple day event with nearly 50 teams) and one that benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (one day with more than 20 teams). In her free time, Deidre enjoys reading, wine tasting with friends and most especially annual family retreats.
